Not a good choice for international students
I have completed my Master's program from 2019 so far and I would say that as an international student you cannot feel a very open atmosphere, including the courses, because the vast majority of the courses are related to the EU, multi-level governance or traditional theory, and if you are not interested in these directions, you will not have a very good experience; but GSI offers a very good training mechanism for methodology, especially quantitative research, which can play a very important role in your future research, all the teachers are super kind, as long as you show your initiative. So I think if you live in Bavaria and want to go into a PhD in political science after your MA, this is a worthwhile major; if you are an international student (or a local student who values diversity and pluralism very much), this may not be a major you want.
- Coole & immer hilfsbereite Dozenten & Profs
- Komplizierte und Bürokratische Process in vielen Bereiche
Wie reagiert deine Hochschule auf die Corona-Krise?
The course has been in digital & distance studies since 2020, and in a way I don't feel good about it because it's inefficient; but it's not the problems of faculty or profs, it seems to me that GSI has done its best to ensure a good shift in the teaching model, and everyone needs to stay flexible at these times.
