Not as expected
Class sizes are too big 100+ students for first year as the classes are the same for electrical engineering and Computer Science majors. However, labs have a compact number of students and are very practical!

Breakthrough field
Very interesting and groundbreaking discipline between computer science and engineering. Has lots of career opportunities and overall is a brand new field of study. Robotics is not only about making things move, but rather optimise all the processes involved in it. Optimise code, optimise the construction and algorithms of interaction.
Adequate, but too stressful
My experience in Jacobs was adequate but stressful. The courses were interesting but since the university is compressing years of education into 2-3, then the workload is too much and overwhelms students. Furthermore, the network for future career purposes is not supportive enough especially for internships.
Sehr schöne Einrichtung
Bisher war es eine schöne Erfahrung bei Jacobs. Die meisten der Dozenten sind wirklich nett und werden sich wirklich sehr bemühen, Ihnen zu helfen. Die Organisation lässt dagegen zu wünschen übrig. Dies wurde insbesondere während der Covid-Pandemie beobachtet, bei der die Universität fast auseinanderfiel und mit der Situation nicht richtig umgehen konnte. Aber insgesamt würde ich empfehlen, hierher zu kommen!
